Alissa Beth Rosenberg is an artist living in the New York area. She works with photography, digital art, inks, and, encaustic, to explore ideas about transparency, depth, the interplay of color, textures, and shape.
Alissa's photography has focused on capturing a moment whether it is in a vivid landscape, waterscape, water drops, digital composite, or portrait photography. Alissa is a published artist and Brand Ambassador for Sirui USA, who has had several solo exhibits and has been selected to participate in numerous juried gallery exhibits around the US, winning a variety of awards and honors of recognition. Alissa’s signature photographs are her award winning collection of Unique Macro Water Drops and her Painted Ladies Collection of Digital Art. Alissa’s images have been published in numerous publications including Shutterbug Magazine, Phlearn Magazine, Digital Rev, Newsday and Practical Photography. In addition to working on Fine Art, Alissa also runs a thriving Facebook group geared toward photographers who photograph portraits of people inside a 4x4x2 foot box called Inside the Photobox Photography and Photoshop with 28,000 members. Additionally, Alissa sells a line of Art Decor at The Nest on Main in Northport, NY.
Over the last year, Alissa has been exploring other mediums and has found that working with Alcohol Inks and Mixed media has been a wonderful outlet for her creativity. Her ink work is bold and expressive yet graceful and delicate, focusing on the evocation of mood rather than the depiction of form. Her paintings are often abstractions utilizing metallic pigments sometimes combined with other mixed media elements such acrylics.
